Ok folks, for those of you who don't know, I am a huge huge boxing fan.

On March 13th 2010 possibly the biggest fight in the histoy of boxing will be taking place between Mayweather and Pacquiao.

If you don't know who either of these people are then I have kindly provided a video of each fighter for you to see.

I'm starting this thread early in the hope I can drag some other boxing enthusiasts into a long and pointless discussion about the fight.

If Pacquiao wins he will go down as the greatest fighter who ever lived. If Mayweather wins he won't because he has ducked a bunch of people and always fights smaller guys. However this is the biggest fight possibly ever.

for christ sake.. the century has just began!! we have 90 more years of century and you think these two skinnies are going to make the fight worth to be called like that?

between these two, i think pac has mora chances.. i remembre when he fought against delahoya (besides the nap i took with that fight), the guy ended the fight almost untouched. pac has been climbing up the cathegories and he has done well in all.

btw, i heard that mayweather asked for more doping evaluations against pac or something like that these days.. it doesnt make much of a difference but.. i ask just to know if there is more information around there rather than here about this.

Forget about it man, the fight is off.. pfff... he will fight most likely Yuri Foreman in that month.. i havnt completly read the full issue, but it seems like it was the drug tests thing.. you remember Mayweather talking shit about Pacquiao using drugs?, well, Mayweather wanted a ramdom blood drug test until the fight, and there was a bit of misunderstanding between both sides, and they call the Fight Off.... I think Mayweather was just shiting himself, and he knew Pacman didnt want blood test random, he agreed on make blood test 30 days before the fight, but Mayweather people keeep pushing with the random blood test and well...

Don't be so sure, I think this whole drug testing this is just made up to create publicity. There is a video of Pac having a bloodtest a week or so before the Ricky Hatton fight. There is a strong chance that this is all orchestrated nonsense for publicity....we will see...

And yea mast, this will be not only the fight of the century but the biggest fight in the history of boxing. As for them being 'skinnies' Maradona was a short ass and Gordon Drurie (old Scottish international forward) was a big mofo....I'd still rather watch Maradona play...
